Oral presentation
Oral presentations will take place in thematic workshops in parallel sessions. The duration of the thematic workshops is 1h15. They are all be moderated by 1 or 2 session chairs. There are a maximum of 4 presentations in each oral session.
Your slide
- The oral presentation should be delivered in English for 15 minutes duration. Please, pay attention not to exceed the presentation time to leave time for questions.
- Authors shall accompany their presentation with visual support (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.). Please, bear in mind that it will be read from at least 2 meters.
- Presenters are responsible for bringing their visual support with them during the session (USB card recommended).
- All oral presenters are required to address potential conflicts of interest during their presentation and in their visual support.
Technical aspects
Each room is equipped with a screen and a laptop. Technical assistance is available. For the smaller rooms, there is approx. one technician per 4 rooms. Your room attendant can assist you as well.
Poster
The posters will be presented in thematic parallel sessions of 60 minutes, moderated by a chairperson.
Each author will have a maximum of 5 minutes to present his/her poster. Participants in the session will be able to question the authors afterwards.
Your poster
- Bring the conclusion up front in the poster and present it as ‘bullets’.
- Avoid long sentences, but try to make all your text messages in bullets.
- Avoid detailed tables, but try to illustrate your results in graphs and flow charts.
- Please, pay attention to the fact that your illustration will be read from a distance of at least 1 meter, and we recommend using a large typeface and simple illustrative materials.
- All poster presenters are required to address potential conflicts of interest directly on their poster (even if none to declare).
Technical aspects
- Posters should be written in English in a portrait format – 80 wide x 120 high cm. Posters will be displayed on boards using double-sided tape or drawing pins (paper impression).
- Authors will be in charge of assembling, printing and removing their posters
- Poster session schedules will mention specific times for set up, discussion, and removal of presentations.
- Authors should send a PDF version of their poster, that will be displayed on the conference website, at least before the 21th of November. Please, address your posters to: info@e-cigconference-2022.com
Symposium
